Experienced Welder for Quarry Operations

About the role

Ceabud Engineering Services Ltd is looking for an experienced welder to join its quarry operations at the Awasi site in Kisumu. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, and maintenance of quarry equipment and steel structures, ensuring minimal downtime and high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication of quarry equipment, guards, chutes, frames and other steel components.
• Repair, modify and maintain machinery and structures as required.
• Design and fabricate practical solutions to mechanical and operational challenges.
• Carry out welding repairs promptly to minimise equipment downtime.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to company safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organised.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a welder, preferably in quarry, construction or heavy‑equipment environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop/maintenance team.
• Strong practical problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Good understanding of welding safety procedures and safe working practices.
