Experiential Intern – Communications & PR

About the role
This hands‑on internship lets you learn the communications craft by working on live client projects from day one. You will support strategists and creatives in shaping campaigns, messaging and media outreach while gaining practical experience.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor media, industry news and social conversations, producing daily or weekly coverage summaries.
- Draft and proofread press releases, media pitches, briefing notes, social copy and internal updates.
- Build and maintain media lists, influencer trackers and contact databases.
- Support planning and delivery of campaigns, launches and events, handling logistics, timelines and asset collation.
- Contribute ideas in brainstorms, status meetings and client calls, and capture actions accurately.
- Assemble client‑facing reports, decks and performance summaries using data and clippings.
- Help schedule and coordinate social content calendars, approvals and publishing.
- Perform ad‑hoc research and administrative tasks to keep projects on track.
Required profile
- Currently studying or recently graduated in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, media or a related field.
- Strong written English with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
- Prior exposure to communications work through internships, student publications, societies or freelance projects.
- Ability to juggle multiple briefs and reprioritise when deadlines shift.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office and confidence using social platforms.
- Curiosity about media, brands and audience interaction, and a collaborative attitude.
