Facilities Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to lead the planning, maintenance and operation of Kenya Breweries Limited’s production sites, satellite offices and support services. The role ensures that all facilities are safe, compliant and cost‑effective, supporting a thriving work environment across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term maintenance plans for six production sites and three satellite offices.
• Manage facility budgets, reconcile expenses and drive productivity initiatives.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of offices, warehouses, plants and related utilities.
• Coordinate space planning, allocation, optimisation and renovation projects.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and local regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and support emergency preparedness.
• Source, negotiate and manage contracts with third‑party service providers such as cleaning, catering, maintenance, fumigation and laundry.
• Collaborate with internal partners to promote environmental sustainability and a great workplace.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management within a multi‑site environment.
• Strong background in budget management and financial reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage third‑party vendors and service contracts.
• Knowledge of health, safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
