Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager will oversee the smooth and efficient operation of Teleperformance's Nairobi site. The role focuses on optimizing facility costs, maintaining high service quality, and ensuring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, coordinate sub‑contracted maintenance services, and respond promptly to departmental needs.
• Lead facilities projects, including equipment installation, and ensure timely inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Implement and continuously improve maintenance and housekeeping protocols to reduce risks and enhance efficiency.
• Act as the primary contact for environmental compliance, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives.
• Serve as the escalation point for site‑specific facility issues and promote a unified facilities management approach across multiple business sites.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a multi‑site organization.
• Proven track record complying with Kenyan facilities regulations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead multiple teams across locations.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of building systems: HVAC, Mechanical, Fire Protection, Electrical, Civil, Sanitary, Plumbing.
• Experience evaluating and prioritising repair and maintenance requirements.
• Computer literacy and strong English communication skills.
