Field Engineer – LWD/DD

About the role

The Field Engineer will learn and support logging‑while‑drilling (LWD) and directional drilling tools and services under direct supervision. The role involves reading well plans, executing directional drilling, and performing basic wellsite maintenance while adhering to safety and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret well plans to support directional drilling operations.
• Execute basic LWD jobs and perform routine maintenance at the wellsite.
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures for all tasks.
• Complete required training programs within the Applications Engineer‑1 program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• General knowledge of basic engineering principles with good mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization and travel to rig sites, customer facilities, and training events.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
