Field Marketing Officer

About the role

M-KOPA Solar is seeking a Field Marketing Officer to lead direct‑to‑consumer sales and field marketing for electric motorbikes in the Central Region of Kenya. Based in Thika, you will be at the forefront of the company’s e‑mobility push, engaging customers and communities to drive market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales strategies and conduct field visits to promote and sell electric motorbikes.
• Generate and convert leads through customer referrals, partner networks, and community engagement.
• Provide product demonstrations and guide customers through the sales process.
• Build relationships with customers, local leaders, and influencers.
• Support marketing campaigns by distributing materials and organizing local events.
• Collect market data, customer feedback, and competitor insights, and prepare regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or direct‑to‑consumer sales, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using mobile sales tools.
