Field Sales & Marketing Representative – Kiambu County

About the role

Leo Mabati Factory is seeking energetic Field Sales & Marketing Representatives to expand the reach of its roofing products across Kiambu County. You will work directly with homeowners, contractors, developers, hardware stores and other stakeholders to generate new business and strengthen market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective customers throughout Kiambu County, including construction sites, hardware stores, businesses and residential developments.
• Present Leo Mabati roofing options, explain product features and advise customers based on their specific needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, fundis, developers, hardware dealers and property owners.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets set by management.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, quotations, orders and follow‑up activities.
• Submit regular field sales and market intelligence reports to management.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in field sales or direct marketing, preferably in roofing, construction or fast‑moving consumer goods.
• Good knowledge of Kiambu County’s towns, trading centres, construction zones and road networks.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and comfortable working independently in the field.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Kiambu County; a valid driving or motorcycle licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to use a smartphone for communication, reporting and customer follow‑up.
