Field Sales Representative - Kilifi

About the role

Royal Mabati Factory Limited is hiring a Sales Representative for Kilifi. The role drives sales and generates new business through direct interaction with clients in the field, including recruiting Fundis and Agents and maintaining relationships with existing clients to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through field visits, product demonstrations and sales presentations.
• Follow up on leads and quotations and close deals on time; keep accurate sales records and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Build long-term client relationships, handle inquiries and after-sales support, and run retention and loyalty strategies.
• Identify new market segments, analyse competitors and take part in trade fairs and exhibitions.
• Educate clients on product features, pricing and benefits, and work with marketing on promotional campaigns.
• Recruit, visit and develop agents and Fundis in assigned clusters, help them turn leads into sales, and ensure they follow the company's selling approach.
• Submit performance, market feedback and expense reports, and support management with field insights for forecasting.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in field sales or business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven and willing to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
