About the role
Cynosure is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to provide on‑site technical support for its medical aesthetics laser equipment. The role involves traveling to customer locations or service centers to ensure equipment operates safely and effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Repair, test, calibrate and install laser systems, sub‑systems and sub‑assemblies.
- Report potential problems, equipment shortcomings and complex issues to supervisors or senior technicians.
- Maintain complete and accurate service records for each intervention.
- Interact directly with customers, monitor accounts and provide technical guidance.
- Deliver on‑site technical support as required, ensuring minimal downtime.
Required profile
- Technical background with experience servicing medical or laser equipment.
- Ability to work independently on customer sites and follow safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
Required skills
- Laser system repair and troubleshooting.
- Equipment calibration and testing.
- Installation of complex medical devices.
