About the role
KKCO East Africa LLP is seeking a Finance and Business Advisory Intern to support its accounting and advisory services. This role offers hands‑on experience with a supportive team in a top‑tier audit and accounting firm.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and prepare books of accounts using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or other accounting software.
- Prepare monthly financial management accounts and ensure regulatory compliance (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, VAT).
- Manage petty cash, payments, procurement processes and asset registers.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and support billing, receipting and client account updates.
- Prepare ledgers and journals and assist during internal and external audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized university.
- CPA or ACCA Intermediate qualification.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage accounting software.
- Ability to prepare bank reconciliations and manage accounting records.
