Finance Business Partner – Commercial & Cross‑Functional

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will drive performance by providing insight, challenge and decision support to commercial and cross‑functional leaders. Working closely with sales, marketing, supply chain and finance teams, you will shape plans, evaluate investments and enable profitable growth for assigned brands and channels.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to commercial and cross‑functional leaders, delivering analysis of actuals, risks, opportunities and outlook.
• Own financial performance management for assigned brands/channels, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Lead planning, target setting and forecasting in partnership with Sales, ensuring transparent assumptions and regular updates.
• Control, track and coordinate trade investments and commercial spend, providing governance and post‑evaluation.
• Partner with marketing/trade marketing to evaluate A&P investments, ROI and effectiveness.
• Build business cases and P&Ls for innovation, portfolio and revenue‑management initiatives.
• Collaborate with supply chain to manage product and logistics costs, monitor COGS and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support ad‑hoc analysis and projects from regional and commercial stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in finance, FP&A or finance business partnering, preferably in FMCG or similarly complex industries.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with the capacity to challenge constructively and simplify complexity.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a matrixed, global environment.
