Finance Manager (Microfinance)

About the role

Bridge Talent Management is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead its microfinance financial operations in Nairobi. The role involves overseeing daily financial activities, ensuring compliance, and driving effective resource utilization within a micro‑finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations including disbursements, repayments, collections, and invoicing while monitoring loan portfolio performance.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly financial reports on cash position and loan portfolio, aligning with approved budgets.
• Maintain strong internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance and assess financial, credit and liquidity risks.
• Lead, mentor and manage the finance team and collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional qualification such as CPA (K), ACCA or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in microfinance, banking or SACCOs.
