Financial Planning and Analysis Associate

About the role

Q-Sourcing Servtec Group (QSSG), a human capital management firm with operations in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and South Sudan, is looking for a Group Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for its Nairobi office. The role covers strategic FP&A, financial close and reporting, process improvement and cross-functional support.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and develop the FP&A function, including tools, processes and best practices
• Build a weekly dashboard for the CEO and CFO and lead annual budgeting and forecasting
• Provide scenario analysis, stress testing and rolling forecasts, and build financial models and investor documentation
• Partner with the CFO on cash flow forecasting and working capital
• Coordinate the monthly financial close, oversee reconciliations and prepare variance analysis reports
• Support financial consolidation across multiple legal entities
• Optimize business processes, work with external advisors on tax compliance and assist in annual audits
• Partner with the CGO and Customer Experience to align financial insights with go-to-market strategy

Required profile

• BSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; a master's degree or professional qualification
• CFA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA preferred
• 7+ years in FP&A, financial analysis or strategic finance in a scaling-up or high-growth company, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience building or transforming an FP&A function is highly desirable
• Experience in professional services or a high-growth environment is an advantage

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
• Proficiency in ERP, Power BI and Tableau
• Experience with Zoho and/or Oracle ERP is an added advantage
