Fleet & Transport Manager

About the role

The Fleet & Transport Manager will lead the efficient, safe and cost‑effective operation of Kaziweza Limited’s vehicle fleet. You will optimise vehicle utilisation, oversee maintenance, and manage transport teams and vendors to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day fleet and transport operations ensuring safety and timely service delivery.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate workshop activities.
• Manage drivers, transport staff and third‑party vendors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilisation, GPS tracking and performance metrics to identify efficiency gains.
• Prepare fleet performance reports, manage transport budgets and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Transport & Logistics, Fleet Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in fleet or transport management, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or distribution.
• Proficiency in Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi or Gujarati.
• Proven leadership experience managing drivers and transport teams.
• Strong analytical, planning and stakeholder management abilities.
