FMCG Sales Representative (Delivery Rider)

About the role

The FMCG Sales Representative (Delivery Rider) will combine sales activities with product delivery across assigned routes in Nairobi. You will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, and ensuring timely, safe delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets through effective selling and customer engagement.
• Promote company products, introduce new items and promotions, and identify upselling opportunities.
• Visit customers according to the route plan, take orders and ensure accurate, on‑time deliveries.
• Verify deliveries against invoices, obtain proof of delivery and handle product returns.
• Merchandise products at customer outlets according to company standards.
• Collect customer payments, reconcile daily sales and deliveries, and report stock variances.
• Maintain the assigned motorcycle in a clean, safe, road‑worthy condition.
• Submit daily and periodic reports on visits, sales, deliveries and collections.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a motorcycle sales representative in the FMCG industry.
• Valid Class C driving licence and Class A motorcycle licence with a clean driving record.
