Front Desk Host

About the role

We are looking for a polished, service‑driven Front Desk Host to join the Front Office team at Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands. In this fast‑paced luxury environment you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating seamless arrival and departure experiences while representing the hotel’s brand.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized assistance throughout their stay.
• Resolve enquiries and issues with confidence and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate guest records using front‑office systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of front‑office experience in a globally recognized luxury hotel brand.
• Passion for luxury hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, confident demeanor.
• Professional appearance, impeccable grooming and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm, solution‑oriented and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages a plus.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of front‑office systems such as Reserve.
• Familiarity with OPERA Cloud.
