Front Desk Host

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, polished and service‑driven Front Desk Host to join the Front Office team at Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands. The role involves creating seamless arrival and departure experiences while acting as a trusted ambassador for the hotel. You will anticipate guest needs, resolve enquiries confidently and consistently exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Create seamless arrival and departure experiences for guests.
• Serve as a trusted ambassador, representing the hotel’s luxury standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively address enquiries.
• Resolve issues with confidence and professionalism.
• Deliver service that consistently exceeds guest expectations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of Front Office experience in a globally recognized luxury hotel brand.
• Genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, confident personality.
• Professional presence with impeccable grooming and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm, composed and solution‑oriented in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Working knowledge of front office systems such as Reserve and OPERA Cloud (advantageous).
