Frontend Web Developer (HTML/CSS) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Frontend Web Developer specialized in HTML and CSS to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building responsive, high‑performance user interfaces for a high‑traffic platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS and related technologies.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design across devices.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate mockups into pixel‑perfect UI elements.
• Optimize front‑end performance, accessibility, and overall code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS with a solid grasp of semantic markup.
• Experience with responsive design principles and mobile‑first development.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) or frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
• Capability to implement designs from tools like Figma or Sketch.
