Full Stack Developer – Build AI Training Environments

About the role

micro1 is looking for skilled Full Stack Developers to support a customer’s innovative AI project. You will use your end‑to‑end development expertise to create reinforcement‑learning environments that help train next‑generation AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Create reproducible full‑stack environments that test AI models on real‑world software problems.
• Develop clear code samples, debugging approaches, and insights across both frontend and backend.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs that span the UI, API, and database layers.
• Build small to medium features end‑to‑end, from the interface through to the data layer, following best coding practices.
• Improve existing codebases for consistency, readability, and maintainability.
• Document reasoning, approach, and code decisions to support high‑quality AI training data.
• Review peer‑contributed code and technical submissions for correctness and clarity.

Required profile

• 1+ years of hands‑on experience building both frontend and backend applications.
• Comfortable with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Familiar with at least one backend stack (Node/Express, Python/Django/Flask, Java/Spring, or similar).
• Solid understanding of how frontend and backend systems connect through APIs.
• Ability to debug issues that cross the frontend/backend boundary.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Interest or curiosity about AI technical challenges (no prior AI experience required).
