Job description

About the role

Oxford Data Plan is seeking a mid‑level Full‑Stack Web Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end web features that power our data‑driven investment platform. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to own both backend APIs and frontend interfaces while integrating critical CRM and identity systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement full‑stack features using Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask) and React/Next.js frontends.
  • Own integration with external CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), handling data sync pipelines, webhooks, and bidirectional updates.
  • Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs that connect the frontend to backend services and third‑party data sources.
  • Collaborate with sales, client‑success, and product teams to ensure clean data flow between CRM and the platform.
  • Manage integrations with identity providers (Okta, Auth0, Azure AD) including SSO, SAML, and OAuth/OIDC flows.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions around data modeling, caching, and API design.
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues across the stack.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using Docker, GitHub Actions, and cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a full‑stack or web engineer.
  • Strong background with Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask) for backend development.
  • Proficiency in React (or Next.js) for frontend development.
  • Hands‑on experience integrating web applications with external CRMs such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Experience with external identity providers (Okta, Auth0, Azure AD) and related authentication flows.
  • Comfortable designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL.
