GCP Cloud Platform Administrator

About the role

Join SDG Group as a GCP Cloud Platform Administrator to manage and optimize Google Cloud environments, ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Administer GCP services including Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, and Monitoring.
• Design and maintain secure access models following least‑privilege principles.
• Deploy and manage resources such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Load Balancing, and Cloud SQL.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, gcloud CLI, APIs, and Python scripts.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Monitor platform health using Cloud Monitoring and Logging, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Analyze billing, identify optimization opportunities, and contribute to FinOps initiatives.
• Document architecture, procedures, runbooks, and evaluate new GCP services.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience administering Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of GCP architecture, core services, and networking.
• Proficiency with IAM, service accounts, roles, and organizational policies.
• Experience with Terraform and automation using gcloud, APIs, and Python.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud observability tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
