General Manager – Supply Chain Operations (Kenya)

About the role

The General Manager of MSF Supply Kenya holds full responsibility for the strategic, operational, financial, human‑resources, legal and institutional management of the supply hub that supports Médecins Sans Frontières field missions in Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Represent MSF Supply Kenya in all governance bodies and decision‑making forums, both locally and with MSF Supply headquarters in Brussels.
• Co‑define and implement the medium‑ and long‑term strategy for the Kenya hub, ensuring alignment with global MSF Supply objectives.
• Oversee procurement, tendering, quality control, warehousing and shipment of medical and non‑medical supplies to field missions.
• Ensure full compliance with MSF policies, MSF Belgium frameworks, Kenyan laws and the Memorandum of Understanding governing the collaboration.
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, reporting and risk management to protect MSF’s institutional, legal and financial interests.
• Lead human‑resources functions, including recruitment, staff development and performance management.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in supply chain, logistics or procurement, preferably within humanitarian or non‑profit environments.
• Proven ability to operate under delegated authority and represent an international organization in a host country.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan legal and regulatory frameworks related to procurement and logistics.
• Demonstrated track record of strategic planning, governance and risk management.
