About the role
The client, a legal‑technology firm, seeks a German Content Moderator to act as the human decision‑maker in an AI‑assisted moderation system. You will evaluate flagged social‑media posts for potential breaches of German criminal law and decide on escalation to platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Review content queued by the AI system and assess compliance with specific German criminal statutes.
- Make binary decisions on whether content is illegal and whether it should be forwarded for platform action.
- Use the company’s proprietary moderation interface to process cases as they appear.
- Participate in weekly alignment meetings to discuss case trends and system improvements.
Required profile
- Native or near‑native fluency in German with strong grasp of nuance and cultural context.
- Deep understanding of German criminal law and what constitutes illegal online content.
- Excellent judgment for gray‑area cases and comfort reviewing sensitive material.
Required skills
- Experience with content moderation tools and digital platforms.
