Graduate Intern – Enterprise Development (RANGE Program) – Marsabit

About the role

The Graduate Intern will support private‑sector engagement and partnership development for Mercy Corps' RANGE Program in Marsabit. This role involves market research, partnership analysis and coordination with multiple stakeholders to strengthen market systems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, profile and engage potential private‑sector partners, entrepreneurs and market actors through market scans and stakeholder mapping.
• Conduct basic financial and market analysis of business opportunities and partnership proposals.
• Track work plans, milestones, budgets and deliverables; collect and analyse performance data; prepare progress reports and recommendations.
• Facilitate collaboration among private‑sector partners, county governments, Local Implementing Partners, community institutions and other stakeholders.
• Identify emerging business opportunities, document lessons learned and support knowledge‑sharing events.
• Commit 5% of time to organizational learning activities and uphold Mercy Corps safeguarding standards.
