Graduate Trainee – Statistics

About the role

We are looking for a motivated graduate with a degree in Statistics to join our team in Miwani, Kisumu County. The trainee will gain hands‑on experience in data collection, analysis and reporting while supporting various business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organise, validate and analyse data from multiple departments.
• Prepare statistical reports, summaries and dashboards to aid decision‑making.
• Monitor operational and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date databases and records.
• Assist departments with data‑driven analysis and reporting.
• Identify data inconsistencies and help resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives through data analysis.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematics and Statistics or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and handling large datasets.
