Head, IAM Operations

About the role

Standard Chartered is looking for a strategic and delivery‑focused Head of IAM Operations to lead the operational effectiveness of its Identity & Access Management organisation. The role will be based in either Malaysia or Poland and will work within the Information & Cyber Security (ICS) team to drive resilience, scalability and a superior user experience across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for IAM operations and service management.
• Improve resilience, scalability and control effectiveness of IAM services.
• Collaborate with business and technology functions to deliver secure, user‑friendly access solutions.
• Lead a team of IAM professionals, fostering an agile and risk‑aware culture.
• Drive continuous improvement and streamline processes to reduce time‑to‑market.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in Identity & Access Management or related cybersecurity domains.
• Strategic thinking with a strong delivery focus.
• Experience shaping and implementing operational strategies at scale.
• Ability to work across global teams and influence stakeholders.
