Head of Human Resources

About the role

The Head of Human Resources will lead all HR functions for Cropnuts, supporting the company’s growth and performance. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Limuru Central Ward and plays a strategic role in aligning people initiatives with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain talent.
• Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with Kenyan labour and employment laws.
• Develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Design and deliver employee development and training programmes.
• Align HR strategy with overall company goals and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Handle conflict resolution, workforce planning and other strategic HR initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in Human Resources management.
• In‑depth knowledge of labour and employment law.
• Experience developing and implementing HR policies.
• Strong ability to foster positive employee relations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in conflict resolution and workforce planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree or CHRP certification is a plus). Experience in the agricultural sector is advantageous.
