Head of Recruitment

About the role

WWF is seeking a Head of Recruitment to lead its global talent acquisition function. The role will shape the workforce strategy, ensuring the organization attracts and retains the talent needed to deliver its conservation mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with WWF’s strategic goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of recruitment professionals, overseeing day‑to‑day operations.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for all levels, from entry‑level to senior leadership.
• Drive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate with business units and senior leaders to forecast talent needs and create workforce plans.
• Oversee employer branding and talent pipeline development across global regions.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, legal requirements and WWF’s core values.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading recruitment functions in large, complex organisations, preferably in the non‑profit sector.
• Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices and workforce planning.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to WWF’s mission and values.
