About the role

Nova Pioneer seeks an enthusiastic High School Chemistry and Mathematics Teacher for its Eldoret Girls Campus. The successful candidate will join a forward‑thinking network that delivers enquiry‑based learning aligned with the Kenya curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, real‑world Chemistry and Mathematics lessons that meet Kenya curriculum standards.
• Develop and continuously improve lesson plans in collaboration with the Learning Design Team.
• Create a supportive, organized classroom environment that fosters curiosity and academic excellence.
• Integrate interactive technology to enhance instructional delivery.
• Assess student progress, set ambitious goals, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Serve as teacher on duty and/or boarding teacher as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in secondary education.
• Strong knowledge of the Kenya secondary curriculum for Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners and provide necessary accommodations.
• Commitment to fostering a joyful, inquiry‑driven learning atmosphere.
