Hospital Administrator (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Hospital Administrator will oversee hospital administration and finance services, coordinate departmental operations, manage resources and budgets, supervise support services, ensure timely procurement and maintenance, support business development, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with legal and hospital policies. The role is based in Machakos and requires on‑site work.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all administrative and clinical departments and programs.
• Develop and implement hospital policies and procedures, and manage the hospital budget and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with medical staff, department heads, and the board of directors.
• Supervise staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, Public Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a healthcare management role.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, finance, and quality improvement.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
