HR Advisor

About the role

The HR Advisor will support the HR Manager/HR Business Partner in delivering the People & Culture agenda for a Nairobi‑based organisation. The role focuses on managing the employee lifecycle, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates and manage offer administration.
• Maintain talent pipelines, support workforce planning and oversee seamless onboarding for new joiners.
• Administer employee records, probation reviews, promotions, transfers, exits and prepare employment letters.
• Assist with employee relations processes, including disciplinary, grievance and performance management documentation, and support investigations under guidance.
• Organise learning and development programmes, track training completion and maintain learning dashboards.
• Drive employee engagement, wellness and culture initiatives, coordinate recognition programmes and manage employee surveys.
• Ensure HR documentation complies with company policies and statutory requirements, support audits and assist with payroll data validation.
• Maintain HR dashboards, trackers and monthly reports, ensure data accuracy in Workday and provide people metrics for leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination or employee relations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
