HR Data & Digital Transformation Analyst

About the role

AGL (Africa Global Logistics), a multimodal logistics operator now part of the MSC Group, is hiring a permanent full-time HR Data & Digital Transformation Analyst in Nairobi. Within the Human Resources department, you will contribute to HR transformation and digitalization projects across Kenya, combining data analysis, reporting, data quality and project management in an international group.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the governance, quality and reliability of HR data from various systems
• Develop and optimize HR dashboards and KPIs to support decision-making
• Participate in automating reporting and improving HR management processes
• Support HR digital transformation projects, especially around data and artificial intelligence, and monitor HR, data and AI innovations
• Prepare HR monthly statistics (leave balances, headcount, starters, leavers, transfers, turnover analysis and trends)
• Prepare survey data when needed for benchmarking
• Consolidate payroll inputs and administer employee insurance and benefits (medical, group life, fuel and GPA/WIBA, school fees)
• Manage employee profiles for leave administration in line with country policies and procedures
• Administer the Employee Self Service module of SAGE 300 and A Community, and handle NEA, NRE and Enablon reporting
• Track trade union membership monthly and maintain records
• Process work permits, dependant passes, re-entry passes and alien cards, and prepare audit documentation

Required profile

• Master's degree in HR with a specialization in data analytics, data science, information systems, statistics or a related field
• Experience in a data analytics environment is an advantage
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence technologies and their business applications
• Good command of professional English

Required skills

• Strong Excel and data analysis tools (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP)
• Data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent
• Analytical, problem-solving and synthesis skills
