HR Intern – Support Recruitment & Employee Relations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented HR Intern to assist our Human Resources team with day‑to‑day administrative and operational tasks. This three‑month placement offers hands‑on exposure to recruitment, employee relations, documentation, and HR processes within a dynamic outsourcing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Post job adverts on multiple platforms and schedule candidate interviews.
• Support shortlisting, preparation of HR letters (contracts, confirmation letters, notices) and onboarding documentation.
• Assist with employee inquiries by directing them to the HR Manager.
• Participate in HR projects such as policy development, job description drafting, HR audits and compliance support.
• Prepare HR proposals, reports, presentations and maintain organized employee records and databases.
• Contribute to performance appraisal tracking and the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly HR reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using HRIS systems.
