HR Officer

About the role

We are looking for an HR Officer to support effective HR operations and ensure the proper implementation of HR policies, procedures and employee management practices. This full‑time position is based in Kisaju, Kenya and will work closely with all departments to maintain a compliant and engaging workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Support employee relations and resolve workplace HR matters.
• Oversee attendance, leave and other employee records.
• Assist with performance management and staff development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and Kenyan labour laws.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain HR databases.
• Drive employee engagement and welfare programs.
• Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years (48 months) relevant HR experience.
• Good knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
• IRMM or CHRP certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally.
