HVAC Presales Manager – Consumer Electronics

About the role

Samsung Electronics East Africa is seeking an HVAC Presales Manager for its Consumer Electronics division in Kenya. The role focuses on expanding Samsung’s air‑conditioning portfolio across East Africa through technical pre‑sales engineering, partner enablement, and market development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop equipment line‑up documentation, BOMs and technical specifications for VRF and CAC projects.
• Promote RAC products, create promotional campaigns and support retail partners.
• Provide field support including VRF/CAC commissioning, system troubleshooting and RAC installation assistance.
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial consultants, integrators, distributors and retailers.
• Gather market intelligence, conduct competitive analysis and track PSI and market share.
• Train installers, partners and distributors on Samsung VRF/CAC systems and RAC products.
• Travel across East Africa (60‑70% field time) for partner meetings, site visits and market development.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in HVAC systems, especially VRF, CAC and room air conditioners.
• Proven ability to work with commercial partners and drive sales growth.
• Excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
