ICT Automation Engineer

About the role

The ICT Automation Engineer leads the development and implementation of automated workflows, system integrations and process improvements that boost efficiency and reduce manual work. The role also strengthens cybersecurity by implementing and maintaining security controls, monitoring threats and ensuring compliance with security standards. It supports the design, implementation and optimization of the ICT infrastructure and works closely with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate workflows and SharePoint solutions; identify automation opportunities and champion low-code adoption
• Deploy and maintain ICT systems with scalability, reliability and security, translating business needs into technical solutions
• Monitor, detect and neutralize threats, implement IAM, endpoint protection and network security controls, and run vulnerability assessments, patch management and security audits
• Lead incident response and forensic investigations
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies and Microsoft 365, and perform updates, patches and backups
• Optimize network infrastructure (switches, routers, wireless APs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
• Provide expert support for hardware, software and enterprise applications, resolve escalated service desk tickets, and support onboarding/offboarding
• Maintain documentation, knowledge bases and ICT procedures, and help embed digital solutions in operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in ICT support, systems administration or cybersecurity
• Certifications such as Microsoft Power Platform, Security+, AZ-900, SC-900, CCNA, MCSE or CCNP are highly desirable
