ICT Manager

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time ICT Manager in Mlolongo. The role covers the provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of hardware and software systems and their infrastructure, and supports the design and management of business IT networks, including LAN, WAN, Internet links, PABX, WhatsApp chatbots, Active Directory, desktop phones and video conferencing.

Key responsibilities

• Define network specifications with users, analyse workflows, access, information and security needs, and design router administration and routing protocols
• Plan, install, configure and test network equipment, set up connections and firewalls, and define network policies and procedures
• Monitor and tune network performance, troubleshoot problems and escalate to vendors
• Manage the company ERP hardware and connectivity, and oversee the IT department, including the IT admin, CCTV surveillance staff and IT interns
• Manage user accounts, create file systems, install and maintain software, and run training and support for users
• Secure the network and protect data through firewall and IDS monitoring, backups and virus mitigation
• Recommend, schedule and carry out software and hardware upgrades, patches and reconfigurations
• Liaise with service providers to minimise interruptions and ensure timely solutions for users

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or IT and Business
• 5+ years in IT or digital leadership with enterprise scope, or 5+ years at C-level or equivalent
• Proven record delivering multi-system transformations (ERP, CRM, MES, eCommerce, fleet)
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, AI/ML and IT/OT convergence
• Strong financial and business acumen (TCO/ROI) and stakeholder management and board communication
