Industrial Sales Manager – East Africa

About the role

KOEL is looking for an experienced Industrial Sales Manager to lead and grow its business across East and Central Africa. The role combines commercial acumen with technical understanding to drive revenue, market share and brand presence in key industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall P&L performance and develop regional business strategies aligned with KOEL’s growth objectives.
• Prepare annual business plans, sales forecasts, budgets and monitor financial results.
• Build, manage and expand a high‑performing dealer and distributor network, setting performance metrics and ensuring after‑sales support.
• Develop strategic relationships with institutional and industrial customers, including government, mining, construction and agricultural firms.
• Lead commercial negotiations, tender processes and secure long‑term contracts.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and evaluate new territories, products and business models.

Required profile

• Proven track record in techno‑commercial leadership within industrial markets.
• Strong P&L management experience and ability to drive revenue and profitability.
• Experience managing dealer/distributor networks and channel strategies.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with C‑level executives, government officials and key account stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans for growth.
