About the role

The Information Management Assistant supports OCHA’s digital information products, ensuring timely delivery of quality content during emergencies and coordinating workflows across duty stations.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery and coverage of content from partners for sudden onset crises.
  • Coordinate content management and workflow across multiple locations.
  • Conduct quality control, verification and monitor technical issues.
  • Resolve client cases efficiently with empathy and sound judgment.

Required profile

  • Minimum five years experience in humanitarian, human rights or development sector.
  • At least two years in communication, reporting, information management, online editing or journalism.
  • Knowledge of web content management systems, taxonomy and classification.
  • Proficiency in English; French is an asset.
