Infrastructure Project Manager

About the role

The Infrastructure Project Manager will provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for all Human Practice Foundation infrastructure and construction projects. This senior position combines project management, quantity surveying and team leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the organisation’s infrastructure strategy, set construction policies, standards and procedures.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from needs assessment through commissioning and hand‑over, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk management.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, valuations and payment certificates; enforce cost controls and value‑for‑money.
• Oversee procurement, tender preparation, bid evaluation, contractor selection and contract administration.
• Conduct site inspections, technical audits and certify completed works, ensuring compliance with specifications and building regulations.
• Implement HSE procedures, monitor safety performance and promote a safety culture on all sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience combining construction project management/infrastructure delivery and quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in senior leadership overseeing multiple projects and teams.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner and a recognised QS registration (e.g., BORAQS, IEK, EBK).
