Innovation Specialist – Digital Livelihoods Platform

About the role

The Innovation Specialist will lead the coordination, technical management and partnership delivery of the Youth Agency Marketplace (YOMA) within UNICEF's Generation Unlimited programme. Working remotely, the incumbent will support the transition of YOMA into a Digital Public Good and ensure its adoption across country offices and national platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote technical assistance to UNICEF Country Offices and national Generation Unlimited platforms.
• Manage the integrated YOMA technology roadmap and ecosystem architecture.
• Advance YOMA’s transition toward Digital Public Goods and Digital Public Infrastructure principles.
• Prioritise YoID‑led ecosystem integration and partner onboarding.
• Coordinate job‑matching, learning‑to‑earning, impact and credential pipelines.
• Build strategic partnerships and support donor, government and private‑sector engagement.
• Translate YOMA adoption into implementation plans, measurable results and youth livelihood outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating digital solutions for youth empowerment.
• Ability to manage integrated technology roadmaps and ecosystem architectures.
• Experience delivering technical assistance to multi‑country programmes.
• Strong background in partnership development with donors, governments and private sector.
• Understanding of Digital Public Goods and Digital Public Infrastructure concepts.
