About the role
The Public Service Commission, through the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, is offering a 12‑month Inspector of Gas/Refrigeration internship as part of the Affordable Housing Programme (Cohort 2). The role supports housing development projects across Kenya and provides hands‑on experience in gas and refrigeration inspection within the public sector.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out inspection duties assigned by supervisors in line with programme objectives.
- Document skills and activities acquired during deployment on affordable housing and marketing project sites.
- Participate in mentorship activities and undertake additional tasks designed for the internship.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field from a recognised university.
- Graduated no earlier than 2020.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Has not previously benefited from a similar internship programme.
