Interim Residential Manager

About the role

Springbrook is seeking a positive, personable Interim Residential Manager to lead a community home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. You will ensure a safe, supportive environment while guiding a team of Direct Support Professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the residential home, including scheduling, attendance, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Hire, train, supervise, and retain Assistant Residential Managers and Direct Support Professionals.
• Conduct life‑plan meetings, assessments, and ensure accurate Medicaid billing and documentation.
• Maintain safety standards, conduct fire drills, audit personal allowance funds, and manage medication certification.
• Participate in a 24‑hour on‑call rotation and respond to health and safety incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum two years supervisory experience (four years preferred) and at least three years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• College degree preferred; combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Strong analytical, written and oral communication, interpersonal, time‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lb independently and assist with heavier loads; valid driver’s license for Springbrook vehicles.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and ability to learn Springbrook operating systems and related software.
• Ability to create and present written reports and respond to related inquiries.
