About the role
We are seeking an Internal Auditor to evaluate internal controls, ensure financial accuracy, and support compliance with Kenyan laws and corporate governance within our university environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct audits of financial processes and internal controls.
- Verify compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governance standards.
- Prepare and present audit findings to senior management and the board, recommending corrective actions.
- Investigate potential fraud and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum five years of audit or related experience.
- CPA K or equivalent professional membership in good standing.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Additional advantage for CISA certification and knowledge of BI tools and AI.
