About the role
Britam is seeking an Entry Level Investment Research Analyst on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract in Nairobi. The role supports the investment research function by collecting market data, modelling financial information and drafting reports.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, tabulate and synthesize market information to optimise client fund returns.
- Screen investment opportunities against preset multiples and criteria, and draft related reports.
- Prepare first drafts of fact sheets and other reports as requested by analysts or portfolio managers.
- Assist the fund management team in developing, launching and enhancing investment products.
- Take and organise meeting notes, highlighting discussions, action items and timelines.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics or a quantitative field.
- At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis, data modelling, actuarial work or a similar role.
- Familiarity with stock markets, macro‑economic indicators and financial statements.
