iPOS Field Sales Agent - Kisii

About the role

Enduring Technologies Limited (ETL) is a software company behind iPOS, a mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) platform for agrodealers and SMEs in Kenya. It is seeking an iPOS Field Sales Agent to onboard, train and maintain customers, providing timely support including software setup, installation, training and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential iPOS customers in your assigned area and explain the benefits to encourage subscriptions.
• Profile new customers accurately, build a strong customer pipeline with partners and up-sell their products and services.
• Set up the iPOS platform on customer devices and train them, then follow up regularly to support ongoing usage.
• Provide customer support through regular visits and account maintenance, resolve technical issues promptly and follow up on complaints until resolved.
• Keep clear, detailed reports on activities, progress and challenges, and report as guided by your supervisor.
• Liaise with the iPOS team on new initiatives, support ETL's values, keep information confidential and perform other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma.
• Self-driven, proactive person with good attention to detail and good communication skills.
• General understanding of mobile phones and apps.

Required skills

• Prior experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.) is a plus.
