Issuing Officer

About the role

The Issuing Officer will coordinate the daily loading of trucks with ceramic tiles and sanitary ware, ensuring that the right materials are issued accurately and on schedule. This role supports the supply chain by verifying quantities, quality, and documentation before dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Team Leader to receive and confirm daily truck allocations.
• Guide Godown Clerks, Loaders, and Forklift Operators to load trucks accurately and on time.
• Verify SAP codes, colour codes, truck numbers and material details against waybills or delivery notes.
• Provide instructions to Truck Drivers, Loaders and Forklift Operators for smooth loading operations.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Manager – Grading for final material confirmation and timely transfer to receiving areas.
• Maintain liaison with the Production Department to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Conduct thorough checks of SAP codes, colour codes, quantities and material quality before issuing.
• Identify deviations and work with the Manager – Grading to correct them.
• Assist Godown Clerks in transferring materials from receiving to the designated godown.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
