IT Specialist – Enterprise Architecture

About the role

The IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture) provides strategic direction for enterprise-wide technology solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and eliminating inefficient processes. This senior‑level position works closely with leadership and multiple stakeholder groups to shape and implement enterprise architecture policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate strategic enterprise architecture policies and long‑term solutions.
• Generate short‑ and long‑term enterprise solutions and provide impact analysis for key architectural decisions.
• Establish high‑level process design requirements and work to eliminate redundant processes.
• Address integration and interoperability challenges across enterprise applications.
• Serve as a senior expert on system and architecture modeling tools, advising internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform architecture compliance reviews and contribute to IT and architecture standards.
• Design architecture systems capable of supporting human intelligence functions.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen or U.S. national; males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
• Pass satisfactory background investigation, fingerprint check, and E‑Verify employment verification.
• Meet time‑in‑grade requirements for GS‑14 level (52 weeks at the next lower grade).
• Possess the specialized experience and education defined for the GS‑14 IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture) position.
