IT Supervisor – Network & CCTV Management

About the role

We are looking for a motivated IT Supervisor to lead the management and daily maintenance of our network and CCTV infrastructure at the Kenya Laundry Powder Factory. The role ensures reliable surveillance and internet services while supporting various departments with IT assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the factory’s internet network and CCTV system to guarantee continuous operation.
• Collect requirements from departments and work with the construction team to install new CCTV and internet equipment.
• Perform daily cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of NVRs, decoders, and cameras.
• Provide training to users on data-monitoring modules and handle desktop support tasks.
• Execute temporary IT support assignments as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in monitoring operation and maintenance.
• At least 1 year experience in internet implementation and installation.
• Strong teamwork, communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with IT server-room equipment and monitoring system integration.
• Configuration of mainstream monitoring systems; large-scale industrial deployment preferred.
• Optical fiber splicing.
• Installation and routine maintenance of bullet and dome cameras and UPS power supplies.
• Knowledge of Windows Server operating system.
• Familiarity with Huawei switches and basic switch configuration.
• Understanding of monitoring, access control, storage and server integration.
