IT Trainee – Hotel Technology Support

About the role

The IT Trainee will work under the supervision of the Training Manager and departmental trainers to learn and support the hotel's technology infrastructure, including AV equipment, databases, and user support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with routine and emergency technical equipment maintenance, including AV systems and banquet equipment.
• Provide technical support to guests and staff, monitor peripherals, and maintain inventory of AV and computer hardware.
• Manage database integrity, perform backups, recovery procedures, and generate Crystal Reports.
• Support hardware and software troubleshooting, prioritize IT incidents affecting revenue or guest experience, and coordinate repairs.
• Enforce security procedures, update user access rights, and keep systems and software up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in IT from a recognized institution (completed coursework acceptable).
• Kenyan citizenship.
• Less than one year since graduation (2025/2026).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multinational environment.
